We look forward to having you with us. “A storm surge of the Northwest’s most successful artists will flow into Cannon Beach, one of America’s Top 100 Arts Communities as we host the annual fall celebration of the arts, The Stormy Weather Arts Festival on November 7-9, 2015.   The city’s many galleries will present very special exhibits, artist demonstrations and host receptions for their guest artists and visitors over the three-day festival. The signature festival events include an exciting “Art in Action” event where artists represented by Cannon Beach galleries will be in the spotlight as they demonstrate their techniques in painting, carving or sculpture. Finished works will be for sale at the event.  Also included at that Friday night event is a wonderful Hors d’ Oeuvres buffet, wine, music by Bucky Pottschmidt, and a silent auction featuring numerous vacation packages in the Columbia Gorge/Hood River, Mt. Hood, The Dalles,  Skamania Lodge, Cannon Beach, and Newport.  There are Collectors quality pieces of artwork from Galleries, Theater packages, a Spa Package, Wine and Beer Tastings, and much more. Main draws to Cannon Beach are the beautiful natural scenery, the wonderful art galleries, and the peaceful small town setting. They are heading south Mid December through January, and they are heading north from late march through June. When are the puffins here? Mid April through August. What time is low tide? This part of the Oregon Coast is a temperate rainforest.  Weather forecasts more than 1 or 2 days out are unreliable.
