Cannon Beach in Lights – November 25th to December 17th November 25 to December 17 – Cannon Beach’s picturesque downtown sparkles with festive holiday lighting displays the entire month of December as businesses compete for awards and you can vote for your favorite online until noon on December 18. Holiday Wreath Making – Saturday, November 26th & Saturday, December 3rd Get creative at the Cannon Beach Chamber of Commerce from 11am until 3pm. This wreath-making event comes with an instructor, along with refreshments and holiday music! Cost: $15 Holiday Tea – Saturday, December 3rd Saturday, December 3 – Enjoy home baked cookies, tea and cider at the beautifully decorated Cannon Beach Library from 1pm until 4pm. The parade route starts northbound on Spruce street and then loops back onto Hemlock street headed south through downtown. Sign up for the parade is at 9:00 – 10:45am at the American Legion Hall. Face painting is at the American Legion and strawberry shortcake at the US Bank. Cannon Beach in March Longer days, colorful sunsets, wine, whale watching, and sand between your toes. Savor Cannon Beach Wine & Culinary Festival – March 10th – 13th Four days of wine tastings, culinary events and a wine walk make Savor Cannon Beach one of the Northwest’s most unique wine and culinary festivals. Whale Watching Week – March 19th – 22nd Whale watching takes place almost year-round on the Oregon Coast. The whales migrate past on their way to and from the waters off Alaska and Mexico. We watch whales in the winter from mid-December through January. Spring watching begins in March with the peak near the end of the month and finishes in June with mothers and babies traveling north. Summer brings whales that feed along our coast from July to mid-November.
